Travel Goods from Muji to Go at Centrair - 3rd Store at a Japanese Airport
(08/07/2009)
Travel goods retailer Muji to Go opened its third store in Japan on August 1 in a designated space in the international departures area at Central Japan International Airport (also known as “Centrair”) in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture.
Muji to Go is a new Muji Ryohin business with a “travel and mobile” concept. Muji Ryohin's parent company is Ryohin Keikaku, based in Toshima Ward, Tokyo. The shop has a condensed selection of Muji Ryohin merchandise with products that are useful for travel and being on-the-go, work, study or having fun. A special trait of the store is that it sells a compact selection of easy-to-spot standard goods so that customers can make purchases of everyday items while they’re on-the-go.
The new Muji to Go Centrair, with a floor space of about 140 square meters, is located on the south side of the duty-free store area across from Gate 21 in the international wing.. It is the sixth such store to open after those in Hong Kong International Airport, JFK International Airport, Tokyo Station, Narita International Airport and Kansai International Airport, and is the third in a Japanese airport. Also, this is the first time Muji to Go has appeared in a duty-free store area in a Japanese airport.
Business hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
