On November 13, airport retail chain store Blue Sky remodeled and opened a shop in the departures lobby of Naha Airport that handles products from Okinawa prefecture.

Jalux, the Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo-based company that operates the shop, took the opportunity to use the complete remodeling of the existing airport store to makeover its business. The shop has a floor space of about 35 square meters.

The new shop has a lineup of all sorts of sweets made in Okinawa prefecture under the new brand Okinawa Sweets Selection. The business is promoting itself to airport visitors as a store with a new concept that is putting Okinawa brands out in front by gathering all kinds of sweets, like those from Royce Ishigakijima (a subsidriay of Royce Confect Co., Ltd.) and the Okinawa main island-only Sweet Potato Cake Lovely Series sold by Festivalo Inc.

Business hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
