JAL to Commission “Doraemon Jet” in February - 30th Anniversary Anime Film

On January 14, Japan Airlines (JAL) announced that its “Doraemon Jet” painted with Doraemon and other characters from the anime series will fly on domestic routes starting in mid-February.
The airline and the Eiga Doraemon Production Committee designed the special paint scheme as the 30th anniversary of the anime and the March 6 release of the new movie, Eiga Doraemon - Nobita no Ningyodaikaisen, approach.
The paint scheme has been applied to the body of a Boeing 777-300, which will be based in Haneda and fly to New Chitose (Sapporo), Osaka (Itami), Chubu, Fukuoka, Naha and elsewhere on domestic routes. The Doraemon Jet is scheduled to fly until the end of April.
