On April 28, travel goods store MUJI to GO opened its second branch at Chubu International Airport (“Centrair”) in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture on the fourth floor of the airport’s terminal.

MUJI to GO is a new business by Mujirushi Ryohin, a company of Toshima Ward, Tokyo-based Ryohin Keikaku Co., Ltd., with a “travel and mobile” concept. The shop has a condensed selection of Mujirushi Ryohin merchandise with products that are useful for travel and being on-the-go, work, study or having fun. A special trait of the store is that it sells a compact selection of easy-to-spot standard goods so that customers can make purchases of everyday items while they’re on-the-go.

Another MUJI to GO store opened at Centrair in August in the duty-free store area near the international boarding gates, but the new store will be able to attract customers other than just air travelers since it is in front of the security screening and passport control checkpoints.

MUJI to GO has opened branches in Japan at Chubu International Airport, Narita International Airport, Kansai International Airport and JR Tokyo Station, as well as overseas at Hong Kong International Airport and JFK International Airport.

Business hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
