The Tokyo Food Bar, a new food court, opened in Terminal 1 of Narita International Airport in Narita, Chiba Prefecture on December 9.

Seating for 101 people has been prepared in a space in the departure gate area on the third floor of the terminal's south wing (past passport control) where customers have a choice of five options: "Soba," "Tonkatsu," "Ramen," "Bar" and "Caf." The food court has a "Japanese cuisine" theme while services and menus offered provide customers with what the airport calls "relaxation and a final introduction to Japanese cuisine prior to boarding."

The food court's restaurants are Oedo Soba, serving seiro steamed soba, shrimp and vegetables fritters and tempura soba; tonkatsu (pork cutlet) restaurant Ginza Bairin, serving Ginza Bairin Cutlets & Curry (offered only at this location) and katsudon; Ramen Yoroku, serving miso ramen and tanmen; Airside Bar, serving alcoholic beverages; and Beck's Coffee Shop's first "ekinaka" (meaning "inside the station") restaurant at an airport.

Business hours are from 7:45 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
