New Airport Shuttle Stops at Asakusa, Ikeburo and Shinagawa - 4 New Narita and Haneda Routes

On May 16, Chuo Ward, Tokyo-based Airport Transport Service Co., Ltd. set up new stops in Asakusa, Ikebukuro and Shinagawa for its Limousine Buses (airport shuttles) that provide service to and from Narita Airport and Haneda Airport, creating four new routes to operate.

The three new stops are named Asakusa View Hotel, Ikebukuro Station West Exit and Keikyu EX Inn Shinagawa (previously Pacific Tokyo). The new routes, which are Asakusa View Hotel - Narita Airport (adult fare: JPY 2,700), Ikebukuro Station West Exit - Haneda Airport (JPY 1,200), Keikyu EX Inn Shinagawa - Narita Airport (JPY 3,000) and Keikyu EX Inn Shinagawa - Haneda Airport (JPY 700), are all additional transfer points or extensions of existing routes connecting downtown locations with Narita and Haneda.

According to Airport Transport Service, two of the new stops are bringing back old ones that were removed: Asakusa following the 9/11 terrorist attacks and Shinagawa following the closure of the Hotel Pacific Tokyo. Meanwhile, the Ikebukura Station West Gate stop is brand new.
