10th Anniversary for Keikyu Haneda Airport Station - Discount Tickets in Collaboration with ANA

Keihin Electric Express Railway’s (abbr. Keikyu) Haneda Airport Station will celebrate its tenth anniversary on November 18.

The station was opened in 1998 in conjunction with the completion of the railway’s Airport Line, and along with the Tokyo Monorail in Terminal Building 1of Haneda Airport is a point of origin for travelers heading towards Shinagawa and Yokohama by rail. According to Keikyu, over 200 million passengers have ridden the line since service was offered in Terminal Building 2 in 2004.

The railway is putting on a Keikyu Haneda Airport 10th Anniversary Thank You Campaign from November 18 to December 31 in commemoration of the ten-year anniversary. Discount tickets (Hanetoku Ni-mai Kippu) for travel from Haneda Airport to Shinagawa and Yokohama on the Keikyu Line will be offered to travelers taking domestic ANA flights for the duration of the campaign. The tickets are priced at 600 yen for adults, and 300 yen for young children, and can be purchased at Haneda Airport, Shinagawa and Yokohama Stations by showing a flight ticket stub or a printed reservation confirmation sheet. The maximum possible discount is 34%. One person can make a round trip, or two people together can take two one-way trips with each ticket.

Keikyu is planning on opening a station between Haneda Airport and Tenkubashi Stations (proposed name: International Terminal Station) for the new international terminal that will open in 2010 due to the airport’s expansion.
