On November 10, a new aircraft owned by Izumisano, Osaka Prefecture-based low-cost carrier (LCC) Peach Aviation Limited, which plans to begin offering service to travelers in March 2012, made its first appearance at Kansai International Airport (in Osaka).

It is the first of ten Airbus A320-200s the carrier plans to operate. The plane departed from the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France on the 8th and arrived at Kansai Airport, Peach's hub, stopping in the UAE and Thailand on the way. The aircraft's livery is painted in the company's corporate colors, with white on the nose, a brilliant pink on the fuselage and the "peach" logo in large letters on the tail. Until it goes into official service, this first plane will be used for purposes such as training cabin crews.

Peach, which plans to build a low-cost route network in Japan with connections to Asia, has already announced routes from Kansai to New Chitose, Fukuoka and Seoul (Incheon).

Peach will receive two more aircraft from Airbus by the end of the year.
