The Pan Am In-Flight Meal Fair began at Kansai International Airport in Izumisano, Osaka Prefecture on April 26.

Legend of Concorde, a restaurant in the airport's Sky View observation hall (Tel. 072-455-2082), is offering an original arrangement replicating former Pan Am's luxurious in-flight meals, dating from the era depicted by the drama "Pan Am" on satellite channel Imagica BS that portrays the former American carrier (broadcast in Japan).

Legend of Concorde has prepared a course menu for the fair priced at JPY 4,200: an appetizer of poached egg and fish armet pie; a main course of white fish prepared Saint-Germain style or calf with red wine mustard sauce, along with two types of fresh-baked bread; and a dessert of strawberry melba. The course also comes with one free glass of wine. Reservations must be made at least two days in advance, but a limited number of five courses per day were available without a reservation until May 6. The restaurant is open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The Sky View Cafe is now doing business as the "Pan Am Cafe," decked out with Pan Am logos and visuals from the TV drama. The establishment is offering meals such as the "Foie Gras and Duck Korokke Dog" and a "Truffle-Flavored Omelet & Butter Rice" dish, both priced at JPY 500.

The fair runs until May 18.
