Boat Deck Beer Garden on Cruiser Departing from Haneda Airport Wharf to Offer Luxurious Views of Jets Overhead

Under Jet, a Tokyo Bay cruise that sets out from Haneda Airport Wharf in Ohta Ward, Tokyo, will provide passengers with a beer garden on the water in August.

The limited-time service on the Ocean Bleu, a "mega cruiser," will offer guests unlimited drinks of draft beer, wine and other alcoholic beverages as well as non-alcoholic drinks as they enjoy a live musical performance. The cruise will provide passengers on the deck with dynamic views of aircraft landing and taking off at Haneda Airport as they cruise across Tokyo Bay.

The exclusive cruises will occur on August 9 and 23 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale for JPY 5,000 each. The package includes two hours of unlimited drinks and light food. Each cruise is limited to 130 passengers. Tickets can be purchased through the Hamamatsu-cho Travel Center (operated by Haneda Passenger Service Co., Ltd.) by telephone (03-3437-5521).

KMC Corporation, which operates the cruises, came up with the "Under Jet" name when it started running the cruiser on irregularly scheduled cruises along two routes connecting Haneda Airport Wharf with Yokohama Pukarisan Bridge and Odaiba Seaside Park in March. This service also sent passengers directly under jets flying overhead.
