The ANA Mileage Club, an All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. program, and Starbucks Coffee Japan, Ltd. began a partnership on April 1.

Starbucks locations in Japan will become ANA Card Mile Plus partner stores. When customers use an ANA Card (a credit card) to purchase Starbucks products or a pre-paid Starbucks Card, they will automatically receive regular credit card points (miles) in addition to extra miles. Customers will earn 1 mile for every 200 yen they spend or add to a Starbucks Card at a Starbucks shop with an ANA Card, and 1 mile for every 100 yen spent to reload a Starbucks Card at the Starbucks website.

Starting May 15, ANA Mileage Club members with 10,000 or more miles will be able to convert them in 10,000-mile increments to reload a Starbucks Card.

ANA plans to further strengthen its partnership with Starbucks Coffee Japan such as by providing Starbucks coffeeA on domestic flights and handling limited Starbucks merchandise.
